Project 02
Canadian Immigration (Caribbean)- SQL
The purpose of this project was to use SQL to access a local server containing the immigration data from 1980 to 2013. The focus for this project was to pull all immigration data on the Caribbean and from there gather information that focused mainly focused on the immigration rates from 2007 to 2009. The reason for this is due to the current economic situation, looking at the past data may allow us to make some predictions using some data modelling methods.
Therefore I will be requisitioning the necessary data to answer the following questions.
1) What was the average immigration rate throughout the years in the Caribbean ?
2) How was average and total immigration affected in the Caribbean from 2007 to 2009?
3) Which countries had the lowest and highest immigration rate ?
4) How did Trinidad and Tobago rank during this period ?
5) Did immigration recover after 2009 ?

Project 2.5 - Visualizing Data - Tableau
Canadian Immigration from 2007 to 2009

This portion of the project focused on creating visualizations what will be used to show some important information that was pulled using SQL. The visualizations will consist of Canada's immigration levels as well as Trinidad and Tobago's.

The first dashboard shown reflects the dispersion of immigrants from the Caribbean to Canada. This dashboard also shows the Caribbean's Immigration breakdown.

The next dashboard focuses on Trinidad and Tobago's Immigration rate and aims to show the immigration rate from 1980 to 2014. This years were grouped together in bins containing 3 years each. Additionally the next graphic aims to see if there are any trends before and after the recession.
